About Me

As a graduate of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, I took the first job available in the Harley-Davidson industry as a service writer at a dealership in Michigan. I really enjoyed working with customers but I really wanted to work with the wrenches. With no positions available at that dealer, I took a position as a technician at a dealer near Cleveland where I spent several years as a technician and also in management. I earned a master level technician status as I attended more technical training at Harley-Davidson University in Milwaukee which is Harley-Davidson’s corporate training facility.

I then decided to move on from the dealership system and pursue my goal of running my own shop. I opened Pearl Performance V-Twin in 2015. I continue to learn the new technologies and products in the industry through study, online research and at trade shows so that I may provide customers with the best products. I am enthusiastic about performance so I spend a majority of my time researching performance upgrades. And it’s all possible through the support of my family.
